NEXT UP !

I will be participating in a variety of shows this year & my pots will be available in some new locations across the USA. The big news for wood fired pottery lovers this summer is the WOODFIRENC Pottery Conference & related Pre-Conferences. There are many interactive pottery events planned all over NC from June 1 thru June 11 for potters & collectors alike. Check out www.woodfirenc.com for info & details. I'll be part of a few satellite shows during the Pre-Conference as well as the Main Conference. I'm most excited to be organizing a show of pots by former Western NC potters, Will Ruggles & Douglass Rankin Their pots will be exhibited with those of 20 potters inspired by Rock Creek Pottery. Don't miss it !

2017 marks my 20th year as a full time potter. All pots this year will be stamped with "xx". While continuing to make wood fired functional & Animalware pots, I'm excited to experiment with lower temperature terracotta clay & maiolica tin glaze in my wood kiln. I will also continue painting when I can. This summer we will be traveling to South Africa which will certainly have an influence on all my work. Our apartment is now open for bookings. Check out the Accommodation Page.  Cheers!
